Munro joins Jason Roy and Liam Livingstone in the West Australia outfit's squad for the tournament, which is due to begin next month
Perth Scorchers have completed their overseas line-up for the upcoming Big Bash campaign with the acquisition of hard-hitting New Zealand opener Colin Munro.
Munro joins Jason Roy and Liam Livingstone in the West Australia outfit's squad for the tournament, which is due to begin next month.
The 33-year-old, who sits 38th in the T20 Player Index rankings of three-year performances in the format by all players globally, recently plundered more than 200 runs for Caribbean Premier League champions Trinbago Knight Riders.

"To jump on board with such a successful, established club that has been playing great cricket since the BBL started was really what appealed to me… it's going to be pretty special to be part of it," he said.
"The Scorchers have some world-class players in their list, so to rub shoulders with them this summer is going to be really exciting."
Munro will pose a formidable opening partnership with Roy during the BBL season, though his partner will miss three fixtures due to commitments with England.
In Roy's absence, Perth will be able to call on 24-year-old Nottinghamshire batsmen Joe Clarke, who has signed on a short-term replacement deal.
