The User must not express opinions that are vulgar, crude, sexist, racist or otherwise offensive. The User will not post or otherwise make available on thecricketer website any material which the User does not own without the express permission of the owner.



8 The User acknowledges that by posting materials on thecricketer site the User grants to Us and Our licensors and assigns an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty free, worldwide licence to use the materials both within Our website and in any other manner. The licence extends to copying, distributing, broadcasting, and otherwise transmitting, and adapting and editing the materials. 


9 Material which is posted on any bulletin boards or chat forums is written by Users and We are not responsible for and do not endorse such material. We reserve the right to monitor the contributions made and may respond to or comment upon communications made by the User and edit, refuse to post, or remove any content from the bulletin boards and chat forums in our absolute discretion. No failure to remove particular material constitutes an endorsement or acceptance of it by thecricketer website.

The User, if a child or young person, confirms that he or she has parental permission to use the computer through which access is made to thecricketer website.

The current version of the Terms and Conditions is the version appearing on thecricketer website at any time. At the end of the Terms and Conditions we print the date on which they were last amended.

14 If thecricketer website provides any link to any external website this is purely for the convenience of the User and the User acknowledges that thecricketer website makes no representations and accepts no liability in respect of the content or availability of the external website.

15 These Terms and Conditions are subject to English law. If any term is found to be invalid then this does not affect the validity of the other terms. Failure by thecricketer website at any time to enforce these Terms and Conditions does not amount to a waiver of thecricketer website’s rights to enforce them.

16 Any competitions run on thecricketer website will be organised by thecricketer with winners chosen at thecricketer's discretion. The organisers' decision is final.

17 Free trials are considered introductory offers for new subscribers and, as such, also require customers to enter some form of continuous payment information before the free trial commences. In this instance, we will not charge you until your free trial period has elapsed, whereupon you will automatically move onto the standard rate stated to you at the point of subscribing. Once again, you can avoid moving onto the standard rate by cancelling within your free trial period.
