T10 League 2021 draft: All you need to know

Ahead of the player draft for the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 League, here is everything you need to know

What is it?

The player draft for the 2021 Abu Dhabi T10 League.

When is it?

The draft will take place on December 23, starting at 2pm (GMT).

Have the teams been placed into groups yet?

Yes, that happened in a separate draw on December 20.

Group A: Maratha Warriors, Bangla Tigers, Delhi Bulls, Northern Warriors

Group B: Deccan Gladiators, Qalandars, Team Abu Dhabi, Pune Devils

How will the draft work?

In advance, a draw was held to confirm the draft pick order. Deccan Gladiators will pick first, followed by Bangla Tigers, Team Abu Dhabi, Maratha Arabians, Pune Devils, Delhi Bulls, Qalandars and Northern Warriors.

All of this is ahead of the competition, which will take place between January 28 and February 6 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Franchises have already confirmed several players, including icon players, direct signings and retentions from last year’s tournament.
