India's injury problems in Australia worsened on the first day of the fourth Test as Navdeep Saini was forced from the field of play with pain in his groin.
Saini pulled up during his eighth over of the day - the 36th of the Australian first innings - and was treated by the Indian medical staff.
He returned to the pavilion for further examination, with Rohit Sharma completing the over, but the issue was serious enough for India to send the seamer for a scan.
