Qalandars have signed Daniel Bell-Drummond for the remainder of the T10 League.

The Kent batsman replaces Phil Salt, who having stayed with Adelaide Strikers for the Big Bash League play-offs will not be available.

I'm really excited to be joining up with Qalandars," the 27-year-old said. "I'm happy to be in this T10 League and really looking forward to it. It's a quick format and high energy."

Bell-Drummond has enjoyed a busy winter, having played in the Lanka Premier League for Colombo Kings.

He finished as the highest run-scorer in the 2020 T20 Blast for Kent, hitting 423 runs at 42.30.

Canterbury teammate Sam Billings will not be playing in the competition due to Sydney Thunder's progress to the BBL latter stages.

The England wicket-keeper/batsman was due to represent Pune Devils but with Thunder playing in the Knock-out on January 31 and possibly two games beyond that Billings has taken the decision to pull out.

Qalandars have also been forced into an additional change, with Ahmad Danyal brought in to replace Hassan Ali.
